10x20cm Bedsore Edgeless Non Adhesive Foam Dressing Pad

Borderless non-adhesive foam dressing is a wound care material with a simple structure and non-adhesive design. Its core feature is that it protects the wound only through physical covering and absorption, and does not rely on adhesive fixation. This type of dressing is usually composed of a polyurethane foam layer with non-adhesive edges, and requires the help of bandages, tapes or other fixing devices to assist in adhesion.

Core composition

Main layer: porous polyurethane foam (pore size is usually 100-200 microns), which has high hygroscopicity and breathability, can absorb wound exudate and form a moist environment.

Edge design: non-sticky, mostly soft raw edges or heat-sealed edges to avoid friction with the skin around the wound.

Additional structure: Some products may add a non-sticky contact layer (such as breathable non-woven fabric or silicone coating) at the bottom of the foam layer to prevent the foam from adhering to the wound.

Morphological characteristics

Common shapes: rectangular, circular, strip, some can be cut into any shape;
Thickness: divided into thin type (1-3mm, suitable for small amount of exudate) and thick type (5-10mm, suitable for medium to large amount of exudate) according to the amount of exudate.
